Started on January 2007, the English Proficiency gave opportunities to our member whose aim is to improve on their English communication skills. It is a 11-day training which usually falls from Monday to Friday 6-9 PM. The program has three modules which include Communication dealing with Articulation, American accent and Speech music. Next is Business Correspondence which includes structure, style and coherence in writing corporate letters and Public Speaking of which this last module aims to give the basic principles on delivery, voice and composition of piece as well as giving students ideas on variation on forms of speech.
Included also on the training, is a learning software called the Rosetta Stone which measures the ability of our students with the English Language through listening, speaking and writing. The training room is the Computer Laboratory which is designed only to accommodate 10 students for them to use during speech exercises as well. |
